Thanks for responding, camimac . (Your username is a palindrome--was that on purpose?) I think it's a great show too, and it strikes me that Templar is what Moore's Bond should have been. If he'd played Bond with a little more (no pun intended) of Templar's carefree charm and swagger, rather than the forced attempt at swagger in the Bond flicks, I would have enjoyed his performance a bit more. Have you by any chance seen the episode "Sibao"? Almost a dry run for, and (IMO) superior to, Live and Let Die. Yes, my username is an intentional palindrome, but it is also a combination of my first and last name. The first four letters of my first name and the beginning of my last name. The fact that we didn't see Templar's carefree charm and swagger when Moore played Bond was probably intentional. they were probably trying to distance the two characters to some degree. They probably wanted Moore to play the role differently from Simon Templar. I may have seen the episode Sibao, but I don't know. Its been a long time since I saw any of the shows and I don't remember them by name.
