I kinda hope so. Of course, still a few episodes left. I can see her emerging from the Heisenberg era to become a famous, sensationalist attorney whom “Gene” turns to at the end of BCL.
I would like that yes and I havent seen such complex and strong yet not overtly feminist/perfect female character in a long time. tbh she is the only female character in the entire bb and bcs universe that i actually like and respect. there really was nobody else so far.
1. skyler - horrible - nag who doesnt respect her husband, cheats on him and is the direct cause of many bad things
2. marie - horrible - thief with a cruel streak
3. jane - horrible - gave Jesse heroin
4. lydia - horrible - actual psychopat, uptight and neurotic
5. andrea - least horrible so far, but still a junkie so no.
So Kim really outshines them all, even though she too is a criminal.
Sadly I think she will die. not by the hands of the cartel perhaps but will die before BB time.
would i like another outcome better? yes. do i think she has the smarts and drive and skills to be a top dog? absolutely.
Before I watched Breaking Bad I kept seeing stuff about how horrible Skyler was so I assumed she sucked.
However she doesn’t.
She’s a victim of people sympathizing with the bad guy.
Walter is fifty gabillion times worse than she ever would be and her biggest mistake was supporting him after learning the truth about what a lowlife he was.
