Interestingly the Marlins HAD retired a number, number 5 a few years back in honor of the old owner (who retired it for himself), I forget his name, I guess they unretired it.
Carl Barger. he was with Pittsburgh for a long time. He built the Marlins franchise but croaked before their first game. Must have unretired it for Logan Morrison. Well, he deserved it.
