To be honest, this was probably the most dreadful in the series; not necessarily in a bad way, but in a tonally depressing way. Could’ve benefited from being more self-aware, although I know it’s trying to be the FINAL film so it has to have some gravitas.

It has no gravitas either though.

The movie is on autopilot the entire time, is very similar to a bunch of other movies, doesn't feel like a Rambo movie, is depressing and grotesque in a more vile way than the other movies in the franchise and the filmmaking is generic. Nothing even happens until the final 25 minutes.

I dislike all the sequels, but this movie is much more aggressively bad then the other sequels.
