This isn't going to be over soon. One major grocery store in my area has now had to temporarily close after a 2nd COVID-19 positive, 2nd time in 3 weeks. Amazon warehouse near Calgary has a positive case, so who knows their plan there.
I do feel less anxious though because it no longer feels like a waiting game to me. This is the new normal for months to come, which actually is starting to feel normal. I'm still probably not returning to work until July, & the gov't probably doesn't want me to until there's mass testing available. Economy can't re-open if tests aren't widely available to target subsequent cases &/or more importantly asymptomatics. It's truly insane to re-open the economy only to see more cases unfold without proper curb stomping safety plans. Like a plane load of Chinese returning home from Russia the other day - dozens positive, back into circulation.
