Tarkovsky's "Nostalgia" on British TV tonight

would be sad, because it's a nice and short read. Among the German authors Hermann Hesse belongs to the "is easy to read in spite of heavy topics" category.

While we are at German authors and Tarkovsky:

Tarkovsky had planned a "biopic" about German author E.T.A. Hoffmann who had been influental on an European level.

Sadly Tarkovsky died before he could finish this project.
