In terms of multiplayer shooters... i think Counter-Strike (and variations on PC) is easily #1 as that's definitely my most played multiplayer shooter game ever as i played it quite heavily back from 2000-2005 (maybe a bit beyond this). no other multiplayer shooter comes close for me as outside of that, especially if i want to look at consoles and not PC, i would probably go with GoldenEye on N64 but that's almost purely all for nostalgia sake as i doubt GoldenEye will be anything close to my memories of it playing with my cousin back around 1997-1999.
