Hello, fellow posters and other shut-ins. A few years ago, I got nostalgic for the old Perry Mason series, and ordered a full set. I guess I was busy, as I only watched a few from the first season. It's been such fun to watch them, now. A few days ago, Perry's client was played by a very young Robert Redford (so, of course he wasn't guilty). If I saw that episode when it aired, I'm sure that I wouldn't have recognized him. It has to have been in his "bit part" days. There have been a very few wherein I remember "whodunit." But, even then, I fully enjoy them. One kind-of silly little detail that I've noticed that I didn't see during original airing is that the make-up artist/s, for that program really worked on making eyebrows the focal point of most faces. Of course, the TV screens were pretty small, then, compared to the mega screens, today. Anyway, it's been fun to watch. I think that CBS has a subscription service, now, I may look into that for other favorite shows. I have never sat down and watched an episode, though I have heard a lot about the series and I've never heard anything but good things about it.
I think I'll have to pick up the first season dvd.
