Here's a good one that only the truly insane Sox fan would know, but it's still pretty bizarre.
In 1986, the Sox came ever so close to winning the World Series. They were a team loaded with good young pitching. Guys like Roger Clemens, Bruce Hurst, Oil Can Boyd, hell even Al Nipper made up a very impressive starting rotation.
So, with all of this rotation strength, who started the first game of the 1987 season for the Sox?
Anyone who gets this gets a major gold star......
