Another major problem I have with the show is that Ron’s writing is all over the place. He sidelines major characters to focus on one particular story and drags it out for weeks making you sick and tired of those characters. Then, he tries to wrap these stories up real quickly while dragging others out, like when it took two whole episodes for Sarah to say NO to Xander at their wedding. I really like Abigail and Chad as well but they’re taking a back seat to the Brady, Kristen, Eric and Nicole show. Totally agree about the writing. They kind of rushed the reveal with Mackenzie/Rachel's paternity and Sarah took off the with the baby and we haven't seen her since! WTF? I haven't watched today (Wed) but that's kind of a big story and we haven't see anything about it for 2-3 days? We should have had something about it on Monday. Why don't John and Marlena know about the baby switch - it's their kids/grandkid for crying out loud! Why hasn't Hope visited Ciara since she got out of the hospital? David can barely talk but they wasted all those scenes of Rafe trying to tell him who Evan really is. That was dumb.
