I have not been to the theaters since Oct 28th 2011. so I doubt I would get to the theaters straight up regardless of the virus. or let me put it another way... if I went to the theaters somewhat regularly, I would still continue doing it as soon as possible. those who don't are letting their fear (which is overblown by the media etc) run their lives as it does not make sense to be THAT afraid of something that probably has less than a 1% chance (maybe 2-4% MAX) to kill you.
like others have mentioned before... life is full of risks in general and we take them everyday. like for example... driving a vehicle. there is always a chance you could crash and get seriously injured or die. but we feel the risk is low enough not to worry about it, which is basically like this virus is. so unless your in bad health in general, there is a pretty damn good chance you will be fine. but if your already in bad health, your time on earth is likely limited anyways.
How does that make any sense? ; because if your living with someone you will be in close contact on general, so there is pretty much no point in having them sit 6 feet apart in a theater.
on a bit of a side note... you see people claiming wash your hands often and disinfect stuff in the house etc which when you think about it is largely unnecessary. because the virus ain't going to magically appear in your house unless you did something to bring it in there in the first place (even if you did, it does not live forever on surfaces either) and once you wash your hands, assuming your house is good, which it likely is, the virus ain't going to magically get onto your hands. so when it comes to hand washing... I just do what I generally have done for a quite sometime now is wash them here and there throughout the day, like before eating (sometimes after depending on whether ones hands are gummed up a bit from ones food) etc as this way if someone touches their face etc, chances are they will be fine.
but you can see the media etc are telling people to disinfect and wash hands TOO often has got people obsessed with buying up all of the soap and cleaners etc which screws over many people who just want to buy some soap and use like they have been since it's all pretty much sold out.

And would it bother you that your partner will have to sit one or two seats away from you?
