I haven't seen it myself, but I remember that The Gumball Rally 1976 was very popular among my class mates at school. Car chases and burning rubber movies were popular if low-budget movies, like Death Race 2000 1975 and Cannonball 1976, in the pre- Smokey and the Bandit days. Thanks for Peggy, Louis and Ella! Some people prefer 'The Gumball Rally' to the 'Cannonball Run' movies.
