It's not perfect. But it's entertaining.
Critcisms;
- It's taking too long for Maeve and Otis to get together. That's an unrealistic contrivance.
- "I never knew Britain was so sunny and warm." It seems like it was filmed in Southern California.
- There are strong gay themes. Seems like another case of "homosexuality being shoved down the viewer's throats".

I agree. I often feel writers fall back on formula and stereotypes.
I find normal people and normal life interesting. Often the conflict I see in movies and TV shows only exist in movies and TV shows.
