I read in the news yesterday that a resident from a nursing home "escaped" (that's the word they used) and when she was found, she was tested for COVID and tested positive.
First, I want to know how an elderly lass gets past the front desk and out the door of a facility in lockdown, and second, how far could she have really gone, and third,....how did she "escape?"
I'm sorry to hear of your news, and I did not mean to derail your thread, but I was reminded of that story when you mentioned the roommate tested positive. Many nursing homes have 4-6 patients packed in a room, so it makes one wonder.
My prayers are with you.
