If it fails Sony Movie Division goes bankrupt and Marvel can buy back their property at a very low price. So it wouldnt be such a terrible thing.
Actually I also think it wont do as well as the other MCU movies. Because Sony.
Really? or are you being hyperbolic? Didn't know Sony's stakes, literally and figuratively, were that high.
And I don't even say that I wish the flick ill to rib you dudes or as some broadside against the MCU. I just honestly think three versions of essentially the same movie ("Spider-Man 1") in fifteen years, with three other sequels peppered in no less, is abjectly ridiculous. I've paid to see every single one up until now, because I am a sucker and a rube and a lifelong fan of the wall-crawlin' webslinger -- but I'm not seeing this one in theaters.
(Obviously I'm going to Redbox it in six months, watch and possibly even enjoy it, return it, and conveniently never mention that on here.)
