msdemos , people should also avoid using 1943 pennies as they were struck in steel. Well, except for forty copper cents, with only thirteen known to still exist, and for what you could sell one of those for, you could probably buy yourself a nice hazmat suit. That's a VERY good point......KIDS, listen to Mr. Catman, and just say 'NO' to pennies minted in the U.S. in 1943 when fashioning your face masks for your family members.......I've personally seen the ravages of steel-related lung diseases in human beings, and it is NOT pretty !!  And PARENTS, what I think Catman is also suggesting here, is that you take the extra precaution of purchasing a full-body, QUALITY hazmat suit for ALL of the kiddies before putting them to work handling the various (EXTREMELY dirty) metals, dangerous tools, and caustic chemicals (preferably, one approved by The Nuclear Regulatory Commission, as those are the 'safest', pricey as they are!) that they will be working with....though, uh, I could be COMPLETELY wrong on that point.....
