I tend to see it more as those who don't wear masks are not paranoid like those who do wear them. those who obsess over masks for the common person just buy into the fear-mongering portrayed by the media (and they are almost always backwards since it's controlled by the left and they rarely or never tell the truth) and anyone with a half of brain knows societies reaction to COVID-19 is far overblown. because when you cut through the BS, if a random person gets COVID-19 they probably have at least a 98-99%+ chance of living. that kind of percentage is not even a slight concern the common person to over-react and go into lock down mode like it's some major plague and it's not even close.
is it really worth worrying about THAT much? ; so it's obvious COVID-19 is more about politics than a legitimate threat to society.
it's pretty obvious to me society over-reacted to COVID-19 and now they screwed society by shutting it down with 36 million or so unemployed because of it. as some have said, 'the cure[shutting society down] can't be worse than the problem[COVID-19]', but it is.
basically people just need to be a bit cautious when it comes to places where there is a bunch of old people since they have a noticeably higher risk than the common person. but short of that, there is no real concern. surely not enough to justify societies over-reaction to COVID-19.

it's not those on the right forcing businesses to stay closed as it's the control obsessed people on the left by forcing people to comply with their authoritarian BS under the guise of "safety".
those of us on the right are for business being able to open because we place liberty over "safety", especially when ones risk of dying is so low it's not a real concern for 98-99%+ of us. because at the end of the day people got bills to pay as you can't put life on pause for too long otherwise a lot of people are going to suffer (i.e. 36 million unemployed) and the suffering there will be collectively worse than the small amount of those who died from it.
p.s. hell, the left treats illegals better than honest hard working citizens. you see the left screwing with people at hair cut places (in Texas/Michigan) etc trying to force them to shutdown and when they defy their BS orders, they try to screw them and shut them down and ruin them. a bunch of power hungry individuals as screwing with someone for wanting to continue their legitimate business shows you how corrupt they are as they place someones "safety" (more like them going on a power trip) above liberty when it should be the other way around.
