Both my grandma (who lives in a nursing home) and one of my uncles (who lives in a care home for people with mental health issues) were taken to the hospital to get tested for Covid-19. My uncle, who had a fever and was lethargic, tested negative and was sent back. My grandma, who (from what I understand) didn't have symptoms but was tested because a roommate had symptoms, tested positive. Not sure if she's still asymptomatic, but my dad says she's doing well and the biggest problem is trying to make her stay in her room at the home. She's very ornery by nature, and apparently is giving the staff at her home a hard time. Just as the lockdowns were kicking off in March, she actually came down with non-Covid pneumonia, and she kept leaving her room even though she was supposed to stay isolated. I'm guessing they'll be keeping a close eye on her this time around. Update?
