It’s hard to make good car movies these days. Very few Modern cars have the charisma to be a “leading man” or “woman”. What's you opinion on "Gone in 60 Seconds"(2000)? I actually quite liked it, very underrated (never saw the original) It was pretty good, the original was really good though too. Then again, the "hero" car of the 2000 version was a '67 Mustang (roughly contemporary with the Love Bug). Would it have been as good with a 2000 model Mustang? I doubt it.
