When I thought of her character, her whining came to mind. Shrill seemed an appropriate label. I find Streisand shrill too. I like Shirley, I just prefer Laverne. Williams seems more forced in her approach to her humor and antics. Marshall was more of a natural and I wouldn't be surprised if Williams fed off Marshall for her shtick.
