I know that my friend, Alan, went to some convention where both ladies were to attend and greet their fans, sign autographs, etc. Only Williams did not show up. He said that Penny Marshall was great, though.

Marshall would have wised up. She became a respected film director in her own right. I have always enjoyed the films I have seen that she had helmed. She has a nice easy going flow.
