Thanks for the link to that, stefancrosscoe. A lot of those comic book panels do indeed really match shots from the movie.

While looking at them, I remembered the scene where April wakes up to find the turtles hovering over her and then she spots Splinter. My memory of the movie as a whole is somewhat vague now, since I haven't seen it in such a long time (I would've last watched it on video).

However, I think if I did rewatch the movie now, my memories of it would come flooding back and I may well be able to remember certain scenes almost word for word (as I watched the movie many times when I was younger). One such scene would be April awakening and her reactions to the turtles/Splinter - I remember finding it pretty entertaining.

I do think it will be a while before we see a movie version of the turtles that's as good as this one was.
