Well, gee, if the one about Mandela has been "debunked" then there must be nothing to the phenomenon named after him, right? Just call it The Mass Stupidity Effect.  I've noticed a certain....investment....by certain atheist posters in ridiculing the Mandela Effect and anyone who tries to talk about it seriously. Is there a name for that effect too?
