his filmography from the late 60s to the mid 80s was amazing. he worked with SCORSESE, DE PALMA, KAZAN, COPPOLA, BERTOLLUCI, LEONE, CIMINO and GILLIAM.
he also worked with both MANN and TARANTINO - two of the best american filmmakers in the last 25 years.
but the 21st century has seen him act in a string of turkeys. hopefully THE IRISHMAN will set things right.
