You can't accept that this man doesn't agree with you.  He did at one time; he doesn't any longer.  When you project your beliefs onto him, you're displaying your own limitations.  This man can speak for himself.  He already has.  He doesn't need you distorting his words or trying to reinterpret them.  That you feel the need to do so speaks of insecurity on your part.
