but realistically... I wonder what would be more reasonable for the common person to stay around without having to really watch what they eat? ; say 3000-3500mg? I am thinking 3 k max. But even that is hard to do IF you eat processed food or cured meats. For me tracking sodium content really has been eye opening and very informative. Like there were things I simply didnt realize were high in salt, like pickles or seurkraut which I love to eat and which on its own is quite healthy. But it can mess up your sodium levels big time. Luckily my sodium levels/blood tests are in range, so all is good there, but I dont want to count on it staying that way forever, I would rather make some changes while I am still younger and get used to it so by the time I am 60+ and Really need to watch it, its not such a big difference.
