Only radio I ever listen to is Stuart Maconie's "Freak Zone" on Sunday nights and Punk FM on the internet. Although I am currently playing about 200 old John Peel shows covering 1977-1980. Can't stomach John Peel anymore... Too Operation Yewtree. Yeah, listening to some of the old shows where young ladies have written in can remind you of how much times have changed and do come over rather creepy. Still the greatest and most influential broadcaster ever though. His love of finding and passing on new sounds has never come close to being equalled. The man genuinely changed my life. |
