I really want to increase the amount of 70's movies that I've seen, and comedies from any era are always so much fun to watch. I've already seen the funny Woody Allen movies from the 70's, Blazing Saddles, The Pink Panther series, just wondering what the gang here finds funny and what I may have missed all these years. Please recommend below, thanks. The Sting - how could you go wrong with Paul Newman and Robert Redford as grifters The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie - a classic if you like Luis Bunuels surrealism Being There - Peter Sellers doing a better job than Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump as a simple but wise man influencing history Dark Star - early but good John Carpenter Three Women Brewster Mcloud California Split - Three of his best if you are a Robert Altman fan, or want to be Slaughterhouse Five - a classic from Kurt Vonnegut The Abominable Doctor Phibes - Who wouldn't love Vincent Price visiting the 10 plagues of Egypt on his enemies The Rocky Horror Picture Show - see it with friends who like to dance and lots of alcohol
