I absolutely loved it when I first discovered it in re-runs in the early 80s, but today I can no longer watch an entire episode. It's too dated, most of the storylines are silly bordering on idiotic, and William Shatner's acting is atrocious. Spock....Bones.......is...it...possible...........that...an alien.... of incredible power....has taken over the..... mind....of Jep Gambardella? Hehe. Hey, that's a pretty good impersonation. Even today he acknowledges how much he hammed it up back then. If you've ever seen Fanboys, despite it being a movie about a Star Wars fan, he makes a guest appearance as himself, and it's brilliant. I can still watch them today, and I know how schlocky it is, how camp, but that's part of the charm. A lot of these older, classic TV shows are campy, and some of us love them even more for how goofy they are. Look at how silly they are.
