Most memorable game at the Ex was the 10th anniversary home opener. A few of us skipped school to go see the game. Way out in the grandstand, well beyond the outfield wall. Ice cold and not dressed warmly enough. Some Newfies(?) were drinking whisky and offered us some. Then around the 7th inning (not at all sure when actually) everyone started running down onto the field behind the outfield wall, hundreds maybe thousands of people just laughing and running around. Police on horseback(?) and security finally got everyone back in their seats. Pretty sure the Jays lost. Great day though. sounds fun!  |
