I absolutely loved it when I first discovered it in re-runs in the early 80s, but today I can no longer watch an entire episode. It's too dated, most of the storylines are silly bordering on idiotic, and William Shatner's acting is atrocious. I still give it the respect as founder of the franchise (franchise - what an awful word). And it has its iconic moments and ideas. But I grew up with TNG. PS: But I always like the episode titles of the show. |
