PLUS many are poorly miked and have no idea how to project their voices and turn out be marbled mouthed and non-understandable.
It's NOT my ears as the older actors can be understood where the younger ones cannot ... example being Trouble With the Curve ... Clint Eastwood was understandable in every scene ... Amy Adams not so much. Justin Timberlake did fine .. perhaps the singing training helped ?
ME -TV saves many a day as it is an olde tv treasure trove !
