I guess I lacked the magic touch. If you look down about ten posts you'll see I started a thread entitled THE FEUD and discussed this series, but all I got were 15 views and no replies. LOL
Anyhoo, as I said in my original post, this looks like something right up my street, and I'm eager to see this. I love all things classic and vintage, and that includes period piece remakes.
My only quibble is that Susan Sarandon seems dreadfully and woefully miscast as Bette Davis. Jessica Lange seems to be pulling Joan Crawford off beautifully (how could she not? JL is a class act!)
We'll see when it finally comes out. I have high hopes. I've read my share of books re: the drama between them and aspects of their personal lives that I find fascinating. At this early juncture my only reservation is what I see as the potential totally erroneous miscast of Sarandon in such an iconic and classic role as Bette Davis. I don't think she has the chops.
