In recent memory, I remember Aquaman borrowing heavily from Black Panther and Thor. finished filming before BP was released, so it obviously couldn’t have been influenced by that. The movie was primarily based on the New 52 run by Geoff Johns. Birds of Prey was definitely influenced by the Deadpool movies, though. Aquaman is a rip off of Namor but it doesn't matter. Pop culture is general always rips each off. Star Wars ripped off Flash Gordon and then Flash Gordon 1981 ripped off Star Wars. It's the quality of the individual products that matters. |
