Although I enjoyed the "individual message boards for movies, tv shows and actor/actresses", I also spent a lot of time on the IMDb music boards, for which there is an IMDB v2.1 equivalent.
In some ways, the IMDB v2.1 is an improvement over the original IMDb message boards. For example, the IMDB v2.1 Movie Quotes board is something new that originated here as part of Film General, and then was spun off to its own board.
