It wasn't a bad time, but I consider the 70s and 80s considerably better. Are there any 90s horror films with anywhere near the same cultural relevance as the Exorcist, Jaws, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, Alien, Nightmare on Elm Street, Evil Dead, and Friday the 13th?
