but The Age of Innocence should have been nominated, it was a wonderful film the first Scorsesse did for hos female audiences like a reward for handling so much violence and murderes in his past films hehe.
i haven't seen remains of the day but if you say its one of the best period pieces im gonna see it, since im a fan of period pieces the good and the bad ones and even the Sappy ones like The Other Boleyn Girl
