I've never heard that John Miles song, but I don't mind, as I've allowed myself to be deeply prejudiced against him for the past 45 years. His atrocity Music was probably the first song I ever really detested! I always hear the Blake's 7 theme tune when I listen to John Miles' Music. I'm not sure I ever noticed any similarity, but was possibly in denial. Excitingly, when I used to do (and invariably win) pub quizzes in assorted Broughton Street hostelries in the 90s, one of our hapless rivals were called Servalan's Sex Slaves, which always amused me. |
