George Lucas - THX 1138 to American GraffitiTony Scott - The Hunger to Top GunRon Clements and John Musker - The Great Mouse Detective to The Little MermaidReally? I gotta be honest, none of those are what I would ever think of considering a "big leap" forward. In fact some of them (Top Gun and American Graffiti) are probably closer to a step backwards, maybe not commercially that is, but surely in quality, as I think THX 1138, The Hunger and The Great Mouse Detective are just as good or even better than the more famous titles mentioned coming up after them. |
