Streisand effect, the more you forbid something, the more people are gonna wanna see it. I wouldn't be surpsied if Warner planned this, it would certainly be a clever move to boost sales. Disney does a similar thing with the Disney Vault. Why is that the "Streisand effect"? Because when you forbid something, the more people wanna see it. That's the definition of "Streissand Effect" |
