Well it was easy for me to "single" out The Manics from your list since there's a distinct lack of genuine musicians on your list! But slagging off He Ain't Heavy, that's a low blow mate Even from someone who rates Doctorin' The Tardis - which brings you into the category of Brits who by supporting such rubbish has brought the Brit music industry to the abominable state it is today. Do admire your unwavering support for your musical beliefs, I have always had to do it for my Punk passion even to this day, you have to have broad shoulders sometimes. We like what we like and stick to it. Doctorin' The Tardis is moronic genius of the kind I've always loved. A Blockbuster for the 80s if you like. I even like their ideas about music, and I devote my life to not over-thinking it. I'm a 55 year old man who merrily wanders around my one horse town in a Never Mind The Bollocks t-shirt, so we are on much the same wavelength even if one of us has rather less rigorous taste in Hollies songs! My only surprise is that you didn't have Star Trekkin on your list next to the good Doctor... :-) Well you have a year seniority on me, but we be cut from the same cloth, just been down to the local corner shop in my Eddie & The Hot Rods/Life On The Line T-Shirt One of my regrets was not getting to see The Hollies with Clarkey up front. I saw them when Carl Wayne was on vocals, a great night and because of Wayne's appearance in the band they did 2 numbers by The Move, which went down a storm. He sadly died a couple of years later.
