What is “a significant number” in this case? Also, what about the ones who raised money for suicide prevention? I'd say any number of people threatening lives over a movie above 0 is significant. And knowing DCEU/Snyder fans, it was probably a LOT more. As with most things, the bad apples drown out the good ones. But every movement is bound to have some bad apples. Sure, anyone who makes death threats is an idiot, but those people are usually anonymous Internet randos. There’s no reason why they should be seen as defining an entire movement that comprises a surprisingly diverse group of people. Besides, WB’s decision to move forward with the Snyder Cut wasn’t made because they were scared of some anonymous death threats, it was made because they desperately need content for their streaming service.
