I saw Catherine Burns on an episode of "The Waltons". She had a unique, somewhat intense presence. I didn't know until recently that Miss Burns passed away a few years ago.

I remember that her whereabouts was a mystery which was eventually solved quite recently with the sad revelation that she had passed away. She was essentially a recluse later in life.

Her three co-stars from Last Summer have all had long and respectable careers and are still active today but Ms Burns stepped away from acting long ago.
