Star Trek and Star Wars.
DC is supposed to be Star Wars in that it should be full of fantasy and wonder and mythology. Marvel is the Star Trek where it is more the real world sci-fi with a little bit of fantasy. The DC animated movies and shows have embraced what makes DC good and that's why they do flourish. The movies... not so much. Wonder Woman, SHAZAM! and Aquaman did, though. And they are seen as the best (or more entertaining) of the larger than life DC movies. Marvel hit that sweet spot of covering sci-fi with a layer of fantasy.
