So anyways, I loved seeing Seaver with the Red Sox in 1986. Watching a legend get traded to the Sox for the stretch drive seemed to legitimize that team for some reason.

And he pitched pretty damn good for them that summer. A shame that he didn't get the chance to pitch at Shea in a World Series again.
