Do you think pets can be a deal breaker?

My cat died a few years ago.  I've had them since I was a little kid.  My father was a big animal lover.  I've often had cats, one or two at a time.

My last cat was the sweetest ever, most affectionate and loving little goofball.  Used to stick his head into the mouth of the dog to scratch his ears on the dog's teeth.  Weirdo.  He'd cuddle under the covers with me.  It was very sad to lose him.

Like I said, I really do love all animals very much.  Sometimes I like them more than people.
