a. There's no rush because barely anything's gonna be released for months. Theatres in Canada are planning weeks & weeks of Star Wars & Indiana Jones... sorry, I'm not watching those in a theatre & then have my family watch them from a hospital bed.
b. COVIDiots shunning masks because they don't give a fcuk about my life will be the new smartphones. 2 decades of $12 movies with shiny device lights because other ppl think spending $12 to text their friends in the dark... will be the new boomers.
Worse - when masks do become mandatory in theatres, & they will, the COVIDiots will only double down on the shunning. What, theatre chains are gonna have their teen staff start bouncing ppl in the dark who remove their masks? They're gonna rely on whistleblowers?? lols I'm not paying $12+ to play civil cop with my health on the line... if I'm dropping dime on entertainment & escapism, I don't wanna feel like the ICUs are calling my name.
I will be vaccinated before I return to a movie theatre.
