With the exception of fleecing the White Sox for Tatis Jr, the best thing that has happened to the Padres in the last decade is getting Don Orsillo. Fun fact: when he was a Red Sox broadcaster, his kids went to school where my sister-in-law teaches in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Now that he's out here, his kids go to school where my wife teaches in Coronado, California. i take my pups out to the dog beach on Coronado! Nice! Has it opened back up yet? Even though we live five blocks away from the beach in PB, Coronado Beach is so nice, so I try to drive down there for a couple of beach visits per year. I used to take my Lab mutt to that beach back in the day (now I have a French Bulldog - - not sure if he'd do well there). |
