Yippee-kay-aye, Mr. Falcon! The 4th of July weekend 30 years ago saw many Americans celebrate the holiday with John McClane instead of Uncle Sam. The sequel may not be as good as the original, but it's still entertaining........just make sure you turn off your brain at the door for this particular sequel. At least I'd venture to say it's the best of the Die Hard sequels and one of director Renny Harlin's best movies.
Maltin Movie Guide Review:
Die Hard 2 (1990) - 3 out of 4 stars
"Stupendously unbelievable--but very entertaining sequel--to the action hit; while waiting for his wife at to land at Washington's Dulles Airport, Willis dives head-first into trouble when he gets wind of an impending terrorist-type plot. Lots of violent, large-scale action, and lots of fun--just don't look for lots of logic. Based on Walter Wager's novel 58 minutes."
