Although the movie doesn't sound all that promising anyway. I didn't like the emphasis on death and gore in the 2018 one, and this one apparently takes it even further.
Yeah I kind of agree. For all the emphasis and taking it back to the original, I thought the style might be more in line with the original as well.
Instead it felt more like one of the sequels.. although I'd argue better than almost all of the sequels.
